Difference Between Virus vs Trojan vs Spyware vs Worms

Virus, Trojan Horse, Spyware and Worms. I am sure that you usually hear these names often. They do harm your computer, Mobile phone or a Mobile Computer by many ways. But do you know the exact difference between these ?

Virus :

Viruses are the auto replicating or self multiplying programs which usually hang on to some executable file formats such as .exe , .sis etc and will shoot up when the Parent program is opened. They start spreading inside the system, They scan for other available files to which they can attach.

Worms :

Worms are almost identical to Viruses just that they differ in their spreading nature. These do not attach to any executable programs like viruses and do not depend on them to spread. These are usually found online , especially in hosting which loads your bandwidth with unwanted loading.

Trojan Horses :

The Trojans do not replicate like Viruses and Worms, They are not used to harm unintentionally. They are used to break the authentication. They are used the most in hacking to get illegal access.

Spyware :

Spywares are also like Trojans which are not made to harm unintentionally. They are Secret Programs which sun behind and Collects information inside the system and will do what they are made to. Perfect example for this is key-loggers, used to collect passwords of others illegally.
